What areas do you cover?

We cover all cemeteries and churchyards across Chorley, Lancashire and the wider North West. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, please contact us and we will be happy to advise.

What do your prices include?

Our prices are fully inclusive and include 120 engraved letters, fixing onto a granite plinth, flower containers and VAT. We aim to provide clear, transparent pricing with no hidden costs.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes we do have a showroom and external show area where we have over 60 memorials available for you to view. For those who are unable to visit our showroom because of transport issues or disabilty we offer a convenient home visit service and can complete the entire ordering process via email or phone.

How do I arrange a home visit?

You can arrange a home visit by visiting our Home Visits page or contacting us directly on 01257 263346 or by email at rawcliffesofchorley@gmail.com. Our team will arrange a suitable time to discuss your requirements in the comfort of your own home.

What are your payment terms?

To confirm your order, we require a 20% deposit. All order information is available on our order proccess page.

How long should a grave be left to settle?

A standard grave should be left to settle for approximately 6 months before a headstone is installed and 12 months for kerbsets. However, if the grave has strip beam foundations, the memorial can often be fitted immediately.

How long does it take to install a memorial?

Most standard memorials take around 10–12 weeks from approval to installation. Bespoke memorials may take longer depending on the design and materials required.

How do I send an image for a photo plaque?

A high-quality image is essential for the best results. You can email a digital image to rawcliffesofchorley@gmail.com or send a printed photograph by post. The final quality of the plaque will depend on the image provided.

Can you help with inscription wording?

Yes, we understand choosing the right words can be difficult. Our experienced team can guide you and provide suggestions to help create a meaningful and lasting tribute. You can download an inscription help sheet here

Are your memorials installed to safety standards?

Yes, all memorials are installed by our qualified fixers in line with current NAMM and BRAMM standards, ensuring safety and long-term stability.
